Love Lessons from Riverdale?

So I grabbed the Archie-Veronica proposal issue at Crossword..and I read it at Moshe’s with a very delicious piece of chocolate croissant giving me company.

I was quite excited about the issue, and almost aghast that Archie finally made a choice.

So what happens?

The poor boy decides that a rich girl is his key to happiness, money, career, success and did i say money?

(Turns out he’s right)

The sweet girl next door is ignored, heartbroken, goes out to make a career for herself, lands up with a lookalike of her ex only to have her ex tell her that he loves her as a ‘best friend’ one day before his wedding. Not only that, she even plays bridesmaid at the wedding..and hold on, godmother to their children later!

(Why are girls next door, always next door?!!)

The rich girl gets the guy she always wanted, her Darling Daddy sponsors the wedding, her husband’s career, their future and life in general.

Archies just put Bollywood to shame!

Alright, its just a comic.

But I have to admit, I was still curious and still want to continue reading it!
